Welcome to Houston Area Community Services.  Since 1973 Houston Area Community Services has assisted individuals and families with the basic needs of life. We support individuals and families by meeting basic human needs with FREE food, clothing, and medical assistance. Our mission is to promote economic self-sufficiency, empowerment, and overall improvement. By assisting individuals and families, we empower the community.

Our donation bins are serviced by our uniformed staff & identifiable trucks 3 - 5 times a week, keeping the area clean & tidy.

For more than 48 years, the people at HACS have been successfully providing clothing, food, and support services to thousands of people in need. In Harris County. We are now bringing our experience and integrity into the communities of the Greater Houston Area to provide much needed services to local residents. Our existence as a relief agency relies solely on our ability to involve people like you. Whether you donate goods or your time, your help is needed on a continual basis.
