2021 Thanksgiving Feast November 16 – 9am to 3pm

This has been a tumultuous year for the general public because of this pandemic, but thank God we have all come through it pretty nicely. We did get exposure here at the community center, but it was minimal and since then most of us have been vaccinated. But despite the fact we had chaos in the entire United States because of the coronavirus, we are almost at 100%. But against all odds in 2020 we were able to give out 50 or 60 turkey baskets to the public.

We not only have turkeys but we also have chickens that we can provide to those families in need. In the past we have gotten assistance from the food bank but this year so far the food bank has not given us assurance that we might be able to get some turkeys and if not we have to buy some turkeys so that we can make sure our friends who need help from the community have been served adequately.

It’s a privilege for us to serve the public because we love to do things for those who need our help the most. Of course, you know there are three things mentioned in the Bible and they are peace, hope and love. And let me add a little bit to that because the spirit of the holiday is peace and the gladness of the holiday is hope but the third one is the heart of the holiday and that love we want to share with those who are needing our help. We will gladly do it with joy; we will do it with enthusiasm; and we will do it because we want to serve the people who need us.

We are having distribution on November 16, 2021 from 9am to 3pm. Please come join us. It will be a tremendous blessing for us and I’m hoping and praying that it will be a tremendous blessing for you.
